Hmmmm. Well, I’m a grown man who kinda refuses to grow up. Since I’m 17 years old, I’m commonly known as Shorty. These days I’ve made Matt Shorty Wells my “professional” name. Maybe I use that p-word a little loosely.
If I had a motto it’d probably be something like: Life, if it ain’t fun, we it ain’t doin’ it right.
If I’m going to give advice to the world, I’d probably say: Trust Yourself, Follow Your Promptings, Focus on Getting Better & Express Gratitude Daily.
My line of work is “show and tell” — telling stories and showing off a cool phone app.
I’m in the gratitude game, building my career encouraging folks to recognize and act on their internal promptings. My colleagues and I define a prompting as an intuitive thought that calls on you to take positive action.
See FollowYourPromptings.com to grab our free eBook, The Promptings Process by my mentor, Kody Bateman, for more on all that.
What’s “Getting Better” About?
Getting Better is what I call my newsletter and blog here at the office. If you’re wondering why I call my newsletter/blog Getting Better – see the quote below.
“The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.”
*I do use adult language sometimes, just a heads up on that. I’m pretty passionate about my work, I hope you can feel my heart and won’t get too caught up on the surface-level, first-blush appearance of the language thing.
Seldom & few actual F-bombs here at the office — I do try to keep it somewhat professional. Ahhh who am I kidding?
LOL Anyway, I’m offering Love & am sincerely Grateful for you stopping by & learning a little bit about me and what I’m doing.
I’d love for you to join me on this never-ending journey of Getting Better. Please do subscribe to my newsletter. Remember, if it ain’t fun, we ain’t doing it right.
Promptings is the company I’m partnered with. I’m an independent Affiliate. Promptings is my primary game.

Well that’s a bit about me and what I’m doing. What about you? Please do introduce yourself. Say hello. Let me know you were here. I’d love to hear from you.
